Drinkability first and foremost. Yup, ice-bucket-worthy wine here again. Big red cherry, cranberry vibrancy, crisp golden apples, slate minerality, toasted cumin-like spice, fennel fronds - little bit going on but still a brilliantly fruit-driven quaffer.

Winemakers Notes:

We were really stoked on the first release of this wine and we've decided to back it up again. As is the nature of a wine like this, the blend has changed this year. Merlot dominant this year (40%) with Syrah (30%) then the remainder is made up with some Pinot Gris and Gewurtztraminer. The result has a touch more body than last year's iteration but still has that bright light, easy drinking appeal of the previous iteration.
