Majama Wines Nero D'Avola 2024

Nero D'Avola is a red grape variety that orignates from Sicily.

We offer a delightfully aromatic, lighter bodied Nero D'Avola made from hand harvested fruit, sourced from the Murray Darling region of Victoria. Pressed & made lovingly on Wonnarua Country in the Hunter Valley region of NSW. This wine has been made with minimal sulphites. Our fruit was fermented in Indian clay pots known as Kothi.

Aroma: Black cherry, plum, blackberry, and red currant with subtle  notes of violet & black pepper.

Palate: Light to medium bodied, with flavours of ripe black cherry & plum and a hint of earthiness and spice.

Cellaring: Our wines are designed to drink from now up to 5 years cellaring.

Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
