Val De Loire - Rouge Cabernet Franc

An absolute jewel in the heart of Savennieres, the Taillandier family are third generation owners of the land growing old vine Chenin and old vine Cabernet Franc. All wines are fermented in concrete eggs and show the truest form of local terrior. The wines are made with the intent to show complexity, approachability and intrigue in youth as well as ageing potential. The soil structure is so unique to the region with the classic schist smashed together to range from vertical to horizontal bringing unique attributes to the vines. The wines produced are impossible not to love with intense Mosel like minerality, intriguing texture and textbook opulence of the appellation.
